I am a "Transition Specialist" Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Preferred Properties, with a focus on the Baby Boomers, Seniors, the adult children and Caregivers.  I hold the Seniors Real Estate Specialist certification given by the National Association of Realtors, and I am completing the Certified Senior Housing Professional program in December 2016.  With aging parents of my own, I understand the challenges of the adult children who have full time jobs and also must tend to mom and dad, as they age and living conditions change.  

As baby boomers, we also must think about how we want our later years to look, and make some decisions today.  Is it time to downsize, or "rightsize", freeing ourselves of unnecessary clutter?  As we move through the inevitable transitions in our lives, we fear not being in control, and the best way have some control over our life is to get things in order right now when we are able to.

I understand that it takes more than putting the sign in the front yard and getting all of the documents signed when listing your home to put on the market.  Much care, patience and understanding of what is currently going on in my clients' lives is so important.  I take the time to gain that understanding of their current situation and what it is that they want to accomplish.  I have a wealth of resources at my fingertips of other senior providers and I help my clients make the necessary connections to ease the stress that can accompany a transition.

In my presentations, I explain that the greatest thing that we can do for ourselves, is to plan in advance, how we want the rest of our lives to look -- where we will live, what we will have, and what we will want to be doing!  Plan now!
